About Kimberly

You have incredible insight and intelligence, and you’re looking for the kind of support that validates your unique qualities and anchors you in resilience.

You’re in good company here and I’d love to be part of your journey to thriving as an HSP!

My Philosophy About Highly Sensitive People

  1. You aren’t weak because you feel so deeply. In fact, I think HSPs who aren’t afraid to show their sensitivity are stronger than most. Our society needs more HSPs like you to lean into your sensitive nature and pursue your purpose so others can benefit from your talents, gifts, and, most importantly, your example.

  2. When you allow yourself to be who you are wholeheartedly, especially at work, you attract the right people, career opportunities, and experiences far more than when you try to hide your sensitivity.

  3. You can build resilience, set clear boundaries, and build a happy, healthy work life. Sometimes you need the right support and intellectual feedback to do it in a way that helps you create meaningful change in a way that aligns with your values.

Welcome!

I’m Kim creator of this space and a Career Coach for HSPs

I’ve worked for some incredible companies in the publishing industry for decades, and I’m extremely proud of my career — but I’ve always struggled with high sensitivity in the workplace.

I was a book-production manager for Time Inc., wrote career- and hiring-advice articles for Monster.com, and copyedited for W.W. Norton, among other roles. Even though manager after manager had praised me for being an A-player and high-achiever — I always ended up feeling burned out and empty.

Years ago, this struggle consumed my life…

Every day, I’d wake up feeling sick to my stomach about going to work. I didn’t feel like I fit in and was a ball of nerves all the time.

At night, I’d think about all the ways I wanted to make a difference in the world, but I felt so stuck. Everything I wanted to achieve seemed so far out of reach, and I no longer believed I had what it took to “make it happen.” I truly felt worthless and lost.

Why Career Coaching?

I know how painful it can be to want to make your mark on the world but feel inadequate, and like you’re constantly collapsing in tears and confused about which steps could lead in a better direction.

But I also know what it’s like to be on the other side of this struggle. To feel confident, worthy, and able to create a gentle, nurturing career that honors your needs and sensitivity in the workplace. To understand yourself — inside and out — so what others think and say no longer affects how you’re able to show up as a professional. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to finally be surrounded by a nurturing work environment that fits my needs for a gentler work experience…and to know that I’m truly making a difference in people’s lives.

Now, I go to bed at night thinking about how grateful I am to have built a career that is not only meaningful to me but also fun, energizing, and extremely rewarding…to know that the next day is going to be filled with incredible conversations and people with whom I love to work with and personally enjoy.

The best part is that I get to help so many HSPs not only leave their stressful work environments far behind, but also strike a much better work-life balance and find their true calling in life.

I know how painful it can be to struggle with your sensitivity in the workplace (especially in this “hustle” culture we’ve all come to accept), and it’s why this mission is so meaningful to me. I’m proud to have dedicated myself to helping countless HSPs feel more comfortable in their own skin and learn how to truly thrive at work in a gentle, sustainable way.

You DO NOT have to spend every waking moment of your life hating your job. Join me, and let’s work together to unlock the power you already have within you to build a career that works for you and your beautiful, sensitive self.
